Our Story

Established in 1987 by Dr. Lee Goozdich, National Pike Chiropractic has served as the premiere Chiropractic office in the Tri-County areas of Washington, Fayette and Greene counties for 35 years! Now, Dr. Matthew Stay, who was trained by and worked with Dr. Goozdich for several years, steps in and brings fresh ideas to further improve the health of our community!

We utilize a 3-phase approach to treatment: 

A. Pain Relief

B .Stabilization and Return to Function

This is injury resilience. Getting rid of the pain is usually not enough. This phase of care focuses improving function while decreasing injury reoccurrence.

  • Improving mobility, stability and general strength
  • Injury resistance

  • Transition to more “high-tech” exercises that incorporates ADL training

C. Performance Optimization and Wellness

This is training for life, sport or work – training for life! This phase of care is for those who have completed their initial treatment plan and want to continue to improve their health and performance or simply maintain their wellness!

Fundamentals

  • A typical treatment can last up to 45 minutes. Time spent with Dr. Matt will include spinal and extremity adjusting, and any necessary manual muscle therapies and rehabilitative techniques indicated for treatment. Additionally, patients will receive various physiotherapy modalities such as EMS/TENS Therapy, Mechanical Traction, or Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, as indicated.
  • Dr. Matt uses a functional approach in his assessments and treatments that compliments traditional chiropractic very nicely. He has been trained in several adjusting, rehabilitative and nutritional therapies to help patients suffering from a variety of musculoskeletal ailments.
